Melvyn Ebonkoli became the third Missouri State men's basketball player to enter the transfer portal this offseason, according to Verbal Commits on Monday morning.
Ebonkoli joins Demarcus Sharp and Ja'Monta Black as those who are exploring options elsewhere.
Ebonkoli's short Missouri State career lasted two seasons which included him not playing this last season and playing only 14 minutes as a true freshman in 2020-21.
He came to Missouri State as an international prospect from France. He played one season of prep ball in Putnam, Connecticut, for the No. 2 prep school in the country. The 6-foot-7 forward was a standout for his French FIBA teams before transitioning to the United States.
