March Madness 2022: How to watch NIT bracket reveal on Selection Sunday

The National Invitation Tournament will revert back to its 32-team format in 2022 and will be announced Sunday after the NCAA Tournament bracket is revealed.

The single-elimination tournament is composed of teams that didn't qualify for the big dance but will instead play in the second-tier postseason tournament. ESPN has exclusive rights to all of the NIT games.

The tournament was reduced to a 16-team field in 2021 and was canceled entirely in 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

First-round games will take place March 15-16 with second-round games March 19-20. Third-round games are on March 22-23.
