A Davisville man faces arson charges after officials say he allegedly burned down a visitor center at a Missouri national park.
Park rangers arrived Dec. 26, 2021, to find the Round Spring Visitor Contact Station in flames. The structure housed a small visitor center and ranger offices.
"No one was injured, however the building was a total loss," the National Park Service said at the time.
Marvin "Mark" Remster was indicted by a federal grand jury in connection with arson at the Ozark National Scenic Riverways.
While firefighters responded, officials found that a 2011 Chevrolet Silverado pickup owned by the park service had been stolen.
