While the Bears were having their troubles defending Bradley Wednesday night, their head coach couldn’t defend anything that happened on the court.
“I can’t defend the way we performed. Can’t defend it. I’m going to leave it at that,” Bears head coach Paul Lusk said on his postgame radio show. “I don’t know. I haven’t seen that. I can’t defend the way we performed.”
Missouri State (16-14, 7-10), looking to secure a spot in the top six which would ensure a trip to the quarterfinals in next week’s Missouri Valley Conference tournament, fell flat at Bradley (11-19, 6-11) 77-68.
