After taking heavy damage during Monday night's storms, Lucas Oil Speedway is planning to reopen June 8.
The Wheatland racing complex announced Friday morning it plans to go on with its next scheduled Big Adventure RV Weekly Racing Series program.
Speedway General Manager Danny Lorton said in a press release the weekend of June 1 was already supposed to be a scheduled off week and it ensures there will be additional time to have racing ready for the following week.
