Longtime Nixa head boys basketball coach Jay Osborne will become the next head boys basketball coach at Springfield Catholic, athletics director Dan Evans told the News-Leader on Tuesday afternoon.
Osborne will replace Jack Simpson who was recently named the next head coach at Parkview High. Simpson left the program after one season in which he led the Fightin' Irish to a state semifinal appearance
Osborne is coming off his 30th season on the Nixa sideline where he led his team to a Class 6 state runner-up finish.
