The Lady Bears' season isn't over quite yet.
MSU qualified for the Women's National Invitation Tournament and will play at Louisiana Tech on Thursday in Ruston, Louisiana. A time for the game will be announced Tuesday.
Missouri State earned an automatic bid to the WNIT by being the highest finishing team in the Missouri Valley Conference that wasn't selected to the NCAA Tournament.
The tournament will be the Lady Bears' eighth WNIT appearance. They won the tournament in 2005.
MSU finished the regular season in second place behind Drake, who qualified for the NCAA Tournament after winning the conference tournament.
