A couple of late 3-pointers from junior guard Liza Fruendt weren’t enough for the Lady Bears to grab the win and they fell to Bradley Sunday afternoon in overtime 75-73.
The Lady Bears started out a little shaky in the first quarter, turning the ball over on their first possession. Bradley took advantage and scored the first two baskets off a struggling MSU defense.
“We just really never looked good,” head coach Kellie Harper said. “Even when we had the lead it didn’t look the way we wanted it to look.”
Junior forward Aubrey Buckley hit the first 3-pointer of the game for MSU.
