Gonzaga entered the game 9-1, losing only to then-No. 1 Notre Dame. The Lady Bears had only won a single game going into the Sunday afternoon matchup.
“That is a really, really good basketball team that we just lost to, and they’re gonna win a lot of games this year,” head coach Kellie Harper said.
