MOLINE, Ill, – The good news for Missouri State on Saturday came in the form of an 89-64 rout of Northern Iowa in the semifinal round of the MVC tournament at TaxSlayer Center that saw the red-hot Lady Bears firing on all cylinders.
The bad news is they weren’t allowed to call the Drake Bulldogs back to the floor — they have to wait until 2 p.m. Sunday for their shot at the No. 1-seed.
MSU set a Valley tournament record for points in a quarter with 35 in the second period and they never looked back.
