The Missouri State Lady Bears got another convincing win on Alumni Day, beating the Valparaiso Crusaders for a 10th straight win.
In the first quarter, both teams battled back and forth with only a one-point difference for a little under two minutes at the beginning of the game. Sophomore Abby Hipp hit a jumper to give the Lady Bears a 6-5 lead and sparked a 14-0 run.
Missouri State shot 64.7 percent from the field in the first quarter. MSU never shot less than 53 percent from the field.
The offense stayed red hot in the second quarter, going on a 19-0 run to start the quarter.
