RIDGEDALE — Despite winning the Celebrity Shootout at Legends of Golf a year ago, Larry the Cable Guy felt like he needed to change up his game.
So he changed up his swing just a few weeks before competing in Saturday's inaugural Legends Competition. He was told to just stick with his new swing, and he'd be just fine.
At the end of the competition, he was all smiles after playing a clean game — by not hitting any spectators.
"I didn't hit anybody, so I'm happy with that," the comedian said with a laugh.
The same couldn't be said for Kid Rock, with whom he golfed throughout the afternoon.
