The top high school basketball prospect in southwest Missouri decided his college basketball career will continue at Marquette.
Kickapoo junior Zaide Lowery announced Tuesday evening that he has committed to Marquette. He chose Marquette over schools including Kansas and Missouri State.
The 6-foot-4, four-star shooting guard is rated as the No. 99 player in the Class of 2023, according to the 247Sports Composite.
As a junior this past season, Lowery averaged 15.5 points on 55 percent shooting while shooting 38 percent from deep. He grabbed 7.1 rebounds, dished out three assists and blocked one shot per game.
