One of the top players expected at the 2022 Bass Pro Tournament of Champions is in critical condition after being shot at least twice.
Jeremiah Johnson of Putnam City (North) High in Oklahoma City had emergency surgery Tuesday morning to remove two bullets according to a Facebook post from his mother, April Woolfolk. His coach, Ryan Wagner, confirmed Johnson was in critical condition.
The Facebook post was updated about 10:25 a.m., saying Johnson was out of surgery and it went well.
Woolfolk again posted an update at 4 p.m., saying "As a family, we are still in total shock and working through all the information coming at us very quickly.
