A pair of career nights for Missouri State led the Bears to their second win of the season.
Missouri State (2-0) dominated the final 25 minutes of the game for a 94-67 win over Northwestern State (1-7) on Saturday evening at JQH Arena.
Local standout Jared Ridder and senior center Gaige Prim led the way for the Bears' second victory of the season.
The Bears carried over some of their struggles from their opener against William Jewell into the first 15 minutes of Saturday night's game. Northwestern State got open looks while starting 4-of-5 from deep with MSU starting 1-for-8 and missed some open layups.
