FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. — Missouri State head coach Bobby Petrino was short when asked after the game what it meant to him to return to Arkansas.
After nearly pulling off an upset over the No. 10 FBS team in the country, the coach took a second to look at the stadium that he used to call his home. Former players greeted him while he fought off choking up during his postgame press conference.
"It just hit me a little bit," Petrino said.
In Petrino's return to Fayetteville, the former Hogs head coach put on a masterclass in offensive play-calling while reminding everyone of the coach he's always been considered.
