How Bri Ellis makes the MSU Lady Bears better without big numbers in the stat sheet

Heading into her senior day, Bri Ellis knew she wanted her play to be called when she stepped out on the floor.

The play is called "Black." It's usually run for a bigger guard like Sydney Wilson for a post-up play. During practice, Ellis always called the play for herself to the point where the play was renamed "Black Bri."

In the walkthrough before Sunday evening's game, Lady Bears head coach Amaka Agugua-Hamilton told Ellis that she was going to have to post up assistant coach Tori Jankoska and make a basket for the play to be called that night.
