Missouri State's path to making it back to the postseason became more difficult on Saturday afternoon when the Bears lost to Youngstown State.
The Bears will now have to make up for the loss elsewhere when they have one of the more difficult remaining schedules in the FCS.
There are plenty of opportunities for the Bears to come up with marquee wins to make up for it. They have three games remaining on the schedule against teams ranked in the Top 16 of the STATS Perform FCS Top 25 — which has the Bears ranked 20th.
Ranked right behind the Bears is South Dakota at 21 — which the Bears beat 31-23 in Springfield on Sept.
