Former Missouri State catcher Luke Voit could become the latest Missouri State baseball product to play in an MLB All-Star Game if he receives enough votes over a 28-hour period starting on Wednesday.
Voit is one of three American League first basemen who is eligible for the Starters Election. Whoever ends with the most votes will be the starting first baseman in July's All-Star Game.
The vote begins Wednesday at 11 a.m. and ends Thursday at 3 p.m.
Missouri State has had four players make the All-Star game in program history, with the latest being Ryan Howard in 2010.
