Drought-like conditions may affect our fall season, but there is a way to track the leaves changing colors this autumn other than noticing on your morning commute.
Missouri Department of Conservation offers weekly fall color updates with the help from agency foresters across the state online under "Fall Colors." The updates run from September through November.
“Our fall color reports are such a convenient resource for the public,” said Russell Hinnah, MDC community forestry coordinator, via a news release. “The reports begin around mid-September and are updated weekly. They show users where trees are beginning to turn and also suggest best places to see the changing leaves.
