The Missouri State men's basketball team should secure a third-place finish in the Missouri Valley Conference regular-season when it plays its final two games this weekend.
MSU (15-5, 11-5) can clinch the third seed at Arch Madness by either beating Evansville (8-12, 6-8) once in their two-game series, or the Bears could clinch if Indiana State (13-8, 10-6) were to lose one of its two games at Valparaiso (9-16, 6-10).
If the Bears were to lose both games and the Sycamores were to win both of their games, Missouri State would finish fourth.
A third-place finish would have Missouri State playing the sixth seed in the quarterfinals at Arch Madness in St.
