Helias Catholic (Jefferson City) guard Lindsey Byers announced on Saturday night he committed to play for Amaka Agugua-Hamilton and the Missouri State Lady Bears.
Byers, a 5-foot-9 guard entering her senior year, was offered by the Lady Bears on May 29. She is the second Class of 2021 prospect to commit to the Lady Bears — joining Taylor Woodhouse, a point guard from Mississippi.
Before choosing MSU, she held offers from Lindenwood, Northwest Missouri State and Washburn.
Byers was a Class 4, District 10 performer this past season. She is regarded as a good scorer and has been on the varsity squad since her freshman year.
