One of the great high school basketball players to ever come through southwest Missouri can now add "McDonald's All American" to his resume.
Greenwood senior and Georgetown commit Aminu Mohammed was announced as a 2021 McDonald's All American during an unveiling on ESPN's "The Jump" on Tuesday afternoon.
Mohammed recently became Springfield's all-time leading scorer. He accomplished the feat in fewer than three full seasons playing in southwest Missouri. He has more than 2,612 points over the course of his career.
