Hunters in Greene County bagged the most turkeys during Missouri's fall firearms turkey season, according to the conservation department.
The Missouri Department of Conservation said 70 turkeys were shot in Greene County, followed by 58 turkeys in Maries County and 55 in Franklin County.
Overall, hunters killed 2,127 Missouri turkeys during the fall firearms season. That's up from the 1,953 birds taken during the 2019 fall firearms turkey season, according to MDC.
