High-volume quarterbacks are the hallmark of Mike Mauk regimes.
From the plains of Ohio to the Ozarks of Missouri, some of the country's most pass-happy offenses have been conducted by the longtime head coach.
Many have come through Glendale High School, a recent stretch that includes the arms of current Division I recruit Cole Feuerbacher and 2017 graduate Alex Huston, who once climbed to No. 2 on the all-time national record list for single-season passing yards (6,131 yards).
Huston was just shy of the No. 1 mark set in Kenton, Ohio − Mauk's previous post and Huston's hometown − by an eventual University of Cincinnati standout: Ben Mauk, Mike's son and current Glendale offensive coordinator.
