Former Springfield Catholic star Jake Branham announced via Twitter on Sunday that he will join the Missouri State men's basketball team as a preferred walk-on.
Branham spent this past season as a freshman at Central Methodist University. He played in 24 games and averaged 3.29 points per game and went 85.3% from the free throw line.
At Springfield Catholic, Branham was a three-time all-district and two-time all-state performer. He finished his Irish career as the second all-time leading scorer in school history and first all-time in made 3-pointers.
During his senior season in 2019, he led the Irish to a 29-3 record and a state runner-up finish.
