Tyem Freeman has a new home.
The former Parkview standout and Missouri State signee has committed to playing Division I basketball at Central Florida next season, he announced on Twitter on Friday morning.
Freeman is coming off a juco freshman season at Indian Hills Community College. He averaged 18.1 points and 7.3 rebounds per game en route to earning NJCAA Division I First Team honors. He was the lone freshman to make the first or second team.
Freeman started his college career at Missouri State. He was the first player to commit to current head coach Dana Ford but he withdrew from the university in February 2020.
