Former Parkview basketball player Zach Cameron made his Division I basketball choice.
The 6-foot-9 forward who was once signed with Missouri State will head to northern Georgia to play for Kennesaw State in the Atlantic Sun Conference.
Cameron struggled with knee injuries and pneumonia throughout what he had hoped would be a powerful senior season at Parkview High School. Once signed with Missouri State University to play for Paul Lusk, Cameron de-committed to spend a year at Brewster Academy, a New Hampshire preparatory school.
“I feel more ready for college,” Cameron said Friday.
In mid-February of 2015, Cameron’s last season with the Vikings came to an early end at the advice of his doctor based on the condition of Cameron’s right knee.
