The head coach of a former Missouri State men's basketball rival is under investigation by his university after several accusations of misconduct surfaced, according to multiple reports.
Wichita State head coach Gregg Marshall confirmed to The Athletic on Thursday that the investigation was ongoing. University officials declined to comment for that report.
Current Missouri State head coach Dana Ford served on Marshall's staff on multiple occasions — notably as an assistant at Chipola in 2008-09 and Wichita State in 2011-12. Neither Ford's name, nor the years he coached with Marshall, appeared in any reports.
The two separated before the 2012-13 season when Ford accepted an associate head coaching position at Illinois State — his alma mater.
