Dylan Cole made a statement in his second preseason game Saturday night.
The former Missouri State and Logan-Rogersville star led the Houston Texans with 10 tackles on the night. Five of them were for a team-high in solo tackles, and he also picked up a pass deflection.
Cole played for most of the second and third quarters in the Texans’ 27-23 win over the New England Patriots.
This comes a week after recording three tackles against the Carolina Panthers. He also returned a fumble for a touchdown, but it was overturned after the play was ruled an incomplete pass.
