The former Bear who took Southwest Missouri State to the College World Series is going to have an opportunity to play for an MLB World Series.
Brad Ziegler has been traded to the Arizona Diamondbacks, the team confirmed Tuesday afternoon.
Ziegler has spent the last two seasons in Miami, where he has made 106 appearances. He had a 4.36 ERA in 99 innings pitched.
He pitched for Arizona from 2011-16.
During his 11-year MLB career, Ziegler has a 36-37 record with a 2.72 ERA.
