Former Missouri State star Alize Johnson will reportedly sign with his third different NBA team this season.
Johnson is headed to New Orleans to sign a 10-day deal with the Pelicans, according to ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski.
The former Bear began the season with the Chicago Bulls after signing a two-year, $3.6 million deal. He appeared in 16 games and averaged 1.8 points, 2.3 rebounds and 7.6 minutes when he saw the floor.
Johnson was released after he struggled to stay in the team's rotation and after a COVID-19 breakout within the team in December. While signing different players to continue to play games amid the breakout, the Bulls went in a different direction with players they brought in.
