Former Missouri State star Alize Johnson agrees to deal with Toronto Raptors

Former Missouri State star Alize Johnson is headed north.

ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski tweeted that the former Bear has agreed to a deal with the Toronto Raptors. Johnson spent the last two seasons with the Indiana Pacers after they selected him in the second round of the 2018 draft.

Johnson played two seasons under former head coach Paul Lusk and became one of the better players in the history of the school. He was the first player from MSU to be picked in the NBA Draft since the great Winston Garland was selected in 1987.

While in Springfield, he earned first-team All-Missouri Valley Conference honors in his two seasons.
