Former Missouri State guard Keandre Cook signs with Charlotte Hornets

Former Missouri State guard Keandre Cook is headed to the NBA.

The 6-foot-5 guard tweeted on Thursday night that he has signed with the Charlotte Hornets.

Sources told the News-Leader throughout his pre-draft process that multiple teams had expressed interest in the former Bear. His outside shooting ability for his length made him an attractive prospect to NBA teams.

Cook played two seasons at Missouri State after transferring to play for head coach Dana Ford.

He started in 46 games while making 65 appearances while averaging 13.9 points per game. He was a 40.1 percent shooter from beyond the arc in his two seasons.
