After a standout freshman year at Georgetown, one of the best players in southwest Missouri basketball history is declaring for the NBA Draft.
Former Greenwood star Aminu Mohammed will declare for the 2022 NBA Draft, according to a report by Stockrisers' Jake Weingarten. Mohammed's guardian re-shared the news on his personal social media account.
Mohammed just completed a freshman season in which he was unanimously chosen to the Big East's All-Freshman team. He started all 31 games for the Hoyas and averaged 13.7 points and 8.2 rebounds per game.
Mohammed's name has appeared on numerous NBA Draft mocks and big boards by national media outlets since he was in high school.
