Andrew Cunningham's ties with Bobby Petrino have run back since the football coach recruited him as a 15-year-old.
Years later, Cunningham will finally get the chance to play for him.
Cunningham announced his commitment to Missouri State on Twitter on Monday evening. He is the second tailback to commit to the Bears in as many days — following the transfer of Louisville ballcarrier Tobias Little on Sunday.
Cunningham originally started his career at Georgia Southern — where he redshirted a year in 2018-19 before leaving for Iowa Central.
"He's put a lot of guys in the league," Cunningham told the News-Leader on Monday night.
