Former football Bear jumping toward world record

Deion Holliman, former wide receiver for the Missouri State Bears football team, is inches away from breaking a world record.

On Oct. 1, Deion Holliman was finishing a workout with a few box jumps when a man approached him.

The guy was impressed by Holliman’s jump and encouraged him to increase the height.

Holliman insisted that he hadn’t planned for box jumps, nor had he stretched. The guy wouldn’t take no for answer, and the two of them put more weights on the box and measured it as 65 inches.

Holliman took one step before exploding through the air, easily landing flat on his feet at the top of the pile.
