After getting more than 1,000 comments about feral hog hunting in Mark Twain National Forest, the U.S. Forest Service has decided to ban feral hog hunting there — but with a major exception.
Instead of banning hog hunting entirely, the Forest Service said it will allow turkey and deer hunters with proper deer and turkey permits the opportunity to kill feral hogs they come across incidentally while hunting.
