CHICAGO — When the final buzzer sounded Saturday night, the Missouri State Lady Bears left the floor with their season coming to an end in the Sweet 16 round of the NCAA Tournament.
Walking off the floor were one senior, two juniors, six sophomores and five freshmen. The roster should lose only one player.
For everything special the Lady Bears did this season, there should be a reason to believe this historic run could be the beginning of a new normal for the Missouri State women's basketball program.
