The Missouri State Football Bears won their first game of the 2023 season at home while setting program records.
MSU also showed they had gained strength and control of both their offense and defense over the bye-week, as both dominated on the gridiron in the 59-14 win.
“I’m excited for a bunch more,” head coach Ryan Beard said. “It meant a lot because when the administration hires a young, first-time head coach, there’s a lot of question marks – as there should be – what exactly you’re gonna get, what kind of brand of football. We showed today what Missouri State’s future can look like.
