The Missouri State football team lost 35-28 at South Dakota, moving its record to 3-2.
The Bears were forced to respond early after the Coyotes scored within the first two minutes. Quarterback Peyton Huslig lead the Bears offense, recording the first two Missouri State touchdowns.
Huslig kept the Bears in with the Coyotes tying up the score at seven and then again at 14.
“He’s got great command of the offense,” head coach Dave Steckel said. “He’s doing a great job making decisions.”
The Bears took their first lead of the game right before half, heading to the locker room with a 21-17 lead.
