Five things we learned in Mizzou basketball's 86-80 loss to LSU

The regular season is now a thing of the past for Missouri men's basketball.

Only the Southeastern Conference Tournament and NCAA Tournament remain for the Tigers, who lost 86-80 to LSU on Saturday at Mizzou Arena.

Missouri ends the regular season losing five of its final seven games, including its last three home contests.

Missouri, 15-8 overall and 8-8 in conference play, will be the No. 7 seed in the league tournament and is set to face No. 10 seed Georgia at 6 p.m. Thursday from Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, Tennessee.

LSU's Cameron Thomas, likely a lottery pick in this summer's NBA Draft, paced all scorers with 29 points, with Trendon Watford following with 19 for the Bayou Bengals.
