There was a time when Reggie Scurry appeared headed to play basketball at North Dakota State.
Then the 6-foot-7, 220-pound power forward from Northern Oklahoma College in Tonkawa took an official visit to Missouri State.
Barely two weeks later, he’s a Missouri State commit.
“It felt like a family to me,” Scurry said on Tuesday after making his decision to become a Bear. “When I was there, it was really exciting.
“I’m not going to bash anybody, but it felt a lot more natural there. I felt more at home.”
Scurry started 25 of 32 games for the Mavericks last season, averaging 8.
