Former Missouri State and Logan-Rogersville standout Dylan Cole was named the Houston Texans' Ed Block Courage Award winner — as voted on by his teammates.
The Ed Block Courage Award recognizes players' extra efforts both on and off the field and their ability to overcome adversity. The award, established in 1984, is given to one player from each team and "honors players who exemplify the commitment to the principles of sportsmanship and courage."
“I am honored to be the Ed Block Courage Award recipient this year,” Cole said in a statement from the Texans. “It means a lot knowing that this award is voted on by my teammates.
