Glendale senior Rachel Dwyer is caught in a tennis thought paradox.
The returning all-stater doesn’t want to think about the end of the high school tennis season, but she badly wants to perform well at the state championship tournament in mid-October.
“I’m just kind of taking it in. I haven’t really thought about not having high school tennis anymore, but I’m just really enjoying it right now,” Dwyer said.
Dwyer is undecided on where she will go to college or even if she will pursue college tennis. Her sole focus lies on her last high school season and earning the chance to play at the state championship tournament Oct.
