As soon as the Drury basketball schedule was announced last summer, there’s a good chance that Saturday, Jan. 6 got circled immediately.
The only Great Lakes Valley Conference team that beat the Lady Panthers, in either the regular season or the postseason, was Southern Indiana. The Screaming Eagles took down Drury 84-78 on Feb. 4 in Evansville in the only meeting between the two teams last season.
This Saturday, the Screaming Eagles visit the O’Reilly Family Event Center for the only scheduled matchup with the Lady Panthers in 2017-18. Tipoff is at 1 p.m.
Drury is 11-1, 3-0 in the GLVC and ranked 8th in NCAA-II.
