Missouri State football is playoff-bound and the Bears will learn their fate on Sunday morning during the FCS Playoffs Selection Show.
There are many questions surrounding the Bears entering the weekend — whether they will host a playoff game, who they will play and, potentially, earn a first-round bye to automatically host a second-round game at Plaster Stadium.
Second-year head coach Bobby Petrino said Monday that he believes the Bears are worthy of being one of the eight national seeds.
"I think we should get a bye," Petrino said. "We're the second-best team in the best conference out there.
