AURORA — When the Houn Dawgs saw themselves down 21-0 late in the second quarter, they could have easily laid down and quit.
The season was difficult mentally due to the uncertainty around the pandemic and they already had their best season since 2015. No one could really blame them.
But the Houn Dawgs kept fighting, although it didn't turn out to be enough.
Aurora's season came to an end Friday night when it fell 35-30 to Seneca (3-6). The Indians will move on to the Class 3, District 6 semifinals where they will play Mount Vernon (4-5).
