New Missouri State head coach Dana Ford took the blame after his team’s worst loss of the young season.
A poor defensive performance led to the Bears dropping their fourth-straight game in an 88-69 loss to Air Force on Wednesday night in Colorado Springs.
Air Force used an out-of-character shooting performance, hitting 60.7 percent of its 3-pointers after averaging just 24 percent of its 3-pointers in its first six games. The Falcons finished 17-of-28 from long range.
The Bears used a zone defense for a majority of the contest, leaving Falcon shooters with plenty of open looks.
