Missouri State is going to need a little help if it's going to win the Missouri Valley Conference this season.
The Bears (15-13, 9-6) fell to Northern Iowa 63-43 on Wednesday night to slip back to third place in the MVC. The frustrating night included an ejection of Bears first-year head coach Dana Ford late in the game.
Because of the Bears' loss, a win by Drake on Tuesday night and a Loyola win on Wednesday night, Missouri State is now alone in third place. The Bears are behind both Loyola and Drake with three games remaining.
